In partnership with the NGO Plan International, a journalist from Radio Ndeke Luka (RNL), the radio created and supported by Fondation Hirondelle in the Central African Republic (CAR) spent two weeks in Boda in June. In this large village in the Lobaye region, South-West of the country, cohabitation of religious communities is not always easy.

Radio Ndeke Luka introduced children to the basics of journalism and gave them the opportunity to interview "grown-ups". Bonaventure Katikiro, the journalist sent by RNL, coached 20 young boys and girls (aged 8 to 13) from both communities, Christian and Muslim. Four of them were selected as "presenters". Gloria, Amadou, Souleymane and Mahamat Ali hosted 8 roundtables and invited local officials to answer the many questions of the children on: the lack of teachers in the schools, the toilets problems, the lack of doctors, the quarrels in neighborhoods, cohabitation with Peulh cattle breeders, etc ....

These programs were broadcasted by Radio Ndeke Luka throughout the country in its program dedicated to the youth, "Mossékasséka", arousing public enthusiasm. Indeed, since the broadcast, listeners from other provinces send messages to Radio Ndeke Luka to ask this "new media school" to come to visit them as well ...
