The Jonglei Ministry of Labor, Public Service and Human Resource Development has launched a policy for recruitment of civil servants in the State.
The « Recruitment Policy and Process » sets criteria and guidelines for the appointment of civil servants and government workers.
Launching the document in the State Capital Bor, the State Minister of labor and human resource development, Rachael Nyadak Paul said the policy aims at ensuring that employment and placement of workers is transparent and is done in conformity with the legal framework of the South Sudan civil service.
The policy was developed by the State government with support from the United Nations Development Program and the « Adam Smith Institute » – a British based International Research and governance Institute.
