In partnership with the Central African National Assembly, Radio Ndeke Luka, the most popular media of the Central African Republic, created and supported by Fondation Hirondelle, launched on Saturday 8 July a new weekly \u201cParliamentary Magazine\u201d.<\/p>\n
It will be broadcasted every Saturday at 8:20 local time, with a replay on Sunday at 5:30 pm. The aim is to better explain to the CAR citizens the functioning and work of the 140 deputies of this 6th parliamentary legislature. With a 15 mn format in French and 15 mn in Sango, the main national language, the program was conceived as a real magazine, structured in 5 parts, hosted by a Radio Ndeke Luka journalist, with specific jingles and music.<\/p>\n
The1st issue on Saturday proposed an interview with the spokesman of the Assembly, explaining the functioning of the Parliament, a report in Bouar following 2 deputies meeting with the local population, a vox-pop on people\u2019s perception of the Assembly, an explanation of the mission of the new „High Authority for Good Governance“ … In the last part of the magazine, the „lexique\u201d (\u201clexicon“), the 1st parliamentary secretary each week will explain a word \/ expression. For this first issue the question was: What is an „ordinary session“?<\/p>\n
