In a world where social networks are a major source of information and disinformation, knowing how to distinguish between a fact and a lie is a democratic issue. In this work of education, the media must play its full part. This issue of our biannual publication "Mediation" presents recent actions of Fondation Hirondelle for "media literacy" and for the contribution of the media to education programs. Experiences that we compare with other international and local initiatives, and with the reflections of leading journalists around the world.
