On 26 and 27 February, Fondation Hirondelle took part in the 5th edition of the International Cooperation Forum in Geneva. Organised by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the event brought together key stakeholders in international cooperation to discuss current humanitarian challenges.
The 2026 edition focused on redefining humanitarian aid priorities in a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape. In the face of multiplying crises and shifting global power dynamics, discussions highlighted the need to adapt approaches, partnerships and modes of intervention.
Reliable and independent information is an essential pillar of humanitarian action. Fondation Hirondelle was present in the marketspace throughout the two days, providing an opportunity to present our work, engage with participants and highlight the central role of the media in ensuring that populations have access to information, especially in times of crisis.
