Fondation Hirondelle is recruiting its National Representative for its office in Syria

18–24-month assignment (from January 2026, to be confirmed) – Full-time, based in Damascus

Fondation Hirondelle is looking for a National Representative to lead the implementation of a project supporting media coverage of transitional justice processes in Syria, and to strengthen the sustainability of its activities in the country.

Based in Damascus, the National Representative will oversee the opening of the office, operational coordination, and the development of partnerships with local and international stakeholders. This position requires strong leadership, a solutions-oriented mindset, and a high capacity to adapt.

Profile sought: proven experience in leading projects and managing partnerships in Syria (media, human rights, civil society or governance), excellent management skills, and fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
