Present in Kosovo between 1999 and 2000, Fondation Hirondelle has been active again in Europe since March 2022, in the context of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. It implements a training and support programme for independent media and Ukrainian journalists.
Elsewhere in Europe, Fondation Hirondelle, based in Switzerland, develops media and information literacy (MIL) initiatives for young people and conducts advocacy efforts to strengthen support for the media.
